Guess the English word: a green letter is in the right place, a yellow one is in the word but in a different spot.

What is GSE and why is it accurate?

The Global Scale of English is an English proficiency scale from Pearson, the maker of international language exams. Unlike CEFR, which has only 6 broad levels (A1–C2), GSE has 90 steps, so it tracks progress much more precisely: for example, the start of B2 and a solid B2 are different scores, not one and the same level.
